    Description

Dicor fiberglass roof coating protects improves the appearance of your recreational vehicle's roof. It is formulated with 100% acrylic fiberglass resins. These resins form a flexible protective coating that expands and contracts to conform to roof movements.
The acrylic resin coating shields your RV roof from rain and snow. It resists moisture and prevents growth of mold, mildew, and algae. Dicor fiberglass roof coating is appropriate for fiberglass RV roofs, including previously coated roofs.
The bright fiberglass coating has a tan tint and seals cracks or gaps to make your RV roof look new again. It provides a high level of reflexivity to lessen the effects of UV rays on the RV's roof and lower interior temperatures.
A 1-gallon container covers 350 square feet of surface area. Clean and rinse the RV roof thoroughly before applying Dicor fiberglass roof coating. Make sure the roof is clear of dirt, rust, oil, algae, and other contaminants. Let the roof dry and lightly rub the roof surface with fine sandpaper or steel wool. A slightly abraded surface improves coating adhesion. Two coats are recommended for optimal performance.
Dicor fiberglass roof coating should be applied during the day with at least 2 hours of direct sunlight after the second coat is finished. Give the coating 24 hours to dry completely. Do not apply fiberglass roof coating if temperatures drop below 50F or when rain or high humidity are possible within 4 hours of application.
Apply each coat at right angles to each other with a paintbrush or roller brush. The coating should only be applied to the roof surface. Cover sidewalls and front or rear caps with plastic sheeting to reduce risk of accidental contact. Wash other surfaces with soapy water immediately in case of accidental spills or drips. The second coat can be applied as soon as the first coat dries, which is usually within 1 to 2 hours. Wash paintbrushes and tools with soapy water and make sure to close the container after each use.
